Community Day Compassion Stories #1 & #2
Here are the first two Community Day Compassion Stories, recorded in our storytelling booth (aka the little room off the library). The audio producer said she was honored to hear our stories, and they were beautiful! Stay tuned for several more.
Compassion Story #1. “Hold My Hand,” by a parent who wishes to remain anonymous. In this story, one panicky New Yorker learns that her fellow subway riders have untold depths of kindness and sympathy.
Compassion Story #2. “Drawing,” by Laura, 1st-2nd grade teacher. In this story, the teacher becomes the student.
