Sandy 5 March

sandy 5-year anniversary

We are very excited about the Sandy 5 March because there will be lots of Original Art and Song and people walking together for a Sustainable Future. We are walking across the Brooklyn Bridge to demand Clean Renewable Energy for NY - calling Schummer, Cuomo and DiBlasio to create local green jobs and green energy for a Sustainable Future!!  Very family-friendly!

Here are the details:

Wednesday October 25th ART BUILD and CONVERSATION about LES Sustainable Initiatives and Update on Puerto Rico.  Please join D1, Star and TNS families and friends to talk about exciting work in the Lower East Side to prevent the flooding that occurred during Sandy.  We will hear from Ayo Harrington of LES READY and others.  We will also talk about what is happening in Puerto Rico and what a Green infrastructure there could look like. All the while making signs and art for ourselves, our communities and the March - if possible bring supplies and snacks to share.  I will have some supplies and snacks as well!
