Week of 5.23.22

Dear Families,

I cannot thank the Neighborhood Day organizers and volunteers enough for their hard work in making Saturday’s event a huge success!  Each activity - the box maze, car derby, cupcakes, silk screening, chess games, somatic workshop, Sing, and the water balloons- all made the day special and memorable.  Thank you, families!

We are beginning to think about placing children into classes for next year.  Each student’s placement will be carefully considered.  We think about how each child approaches their work and play.  We think about their relationships and learning needs.  We try to create classes that have a blend of children with various social, academic, and emotional characteristics.

If there is anything you’d like us to consider as we’re making your child’s placement decision, please complete this form.  Please understand that we cannot honor requests for specific teachers.

On Tuesday, May 24, from 3:30 - 5 PM, Studio in a School will host an open studio for families to view all the beautiful artwork children have created with Josh and Mildor this year.  Families will be able to walk around the 2nd and 3rd-floor hallways and art studio.  I hope to see you there!
