Drag Story (DSH) hour is coming to TNS again! DSH is a program where storytellers use the art of drag to read books to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. Children see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves! Our students always love this joyful literacy event, and it supports our mission to provide them with an anti-bias, social justice education.
We are saddened and infuriated about the shootings during Saturday’s Lunar New Year celebration in California. While this may not have impacted you personally, it is still a triggering event. If you need anything, please feel free to contact us.
This is a reminder that Friday is a TNS half-day. Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m.
