Summer Rising 2024 Information meetings

The Summer Rising portal will open March 4th! Applications will be submitted using your NYC MySchools account . You can find your NYC MySchools account information by contacting your child’s school or visiting a Family Welcome Center (Family Welcome Centers (nyc.gov).

Join Families Thriving for Positive Parenting Trainings in 2024!

While *you* are the expert on your child & family, join fellow parents and caregivers in expanding your parenting toolbox! Walk away with practical tools to use at home, and connect with other caregivers along the way.
This group is for parents of children ages 2-12 years old and will provide parent training on:
  *   navigating behaviors,
  *   reducing family stress,
  *   strengthening family relationships,
  *   building independence and self-regulation skills in your child(ren),
  *   enhancing parental self-care and feeling less alone,
  *   having tools and strategies for assertive discipline, routines, and positive parenting,
  *   and more!
Our training is in English, but feel free to reach out for services in Spanish or Chinese, and we can let you know our availability.

Nice weather is predicted so hang with your kids after school at the TNS playground, grab a snack, and before you know it, it will be 5:15 when the DOORS OPEN and movie festivities begin!

We’ll be done by 8pm, early enough to get home for everyone’s beauty rest.
