The Neighborhood School PTA
The TNS PTA is made up of families and teachers. The objectives of the TNS PTA are to provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children; to develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents and staff of our school; to develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement; to foster and encourage parent participation on all levels; to engage parents on city and statewide educational issues; to provide opportunities for parents to participate in school governance and decision making as well as local, state and national education policy; to leverage parental involvement in unique ways, and to sustain the involvement of all parents to strengthen the school and public education.
