Dyanthe’s Weekly Letter

Happy New Year!

I hope that you had a wonderful break!

Thank you to all the families who donated to TNS over the break in response to our Annual Give/Ask. We raised another $3K+ and are now 20% to our full-year goal!  It’s still not too late to give if you can; if you can contribute by asking someone in your circle of friends and family to contribute, that would be amazing.

Schools are no longer required to inform the community of individual COVID-19 cases by letter.  School communities will continue to be informed about COVID-19 cases through the Daily COVID Map and the Daily Rollup email.

As you know, wintery weather does not keep our students inside at recess.  It is very important that children come to school dressed for the weather.  Please make sure your child has all the necessary accessories (hat, scarf, mittens, and snow pants) to stay warm and active outside!

  • Children must wear the outerwear their families send them to school at recess.
  • In 2/3 and 4/5, students may remove their coats if they get hot from running around.  We will designate areas for each class to leave their coats.
  • Pre-K, K, and 1st graders must wear their coats during recess.
