Dyanthe’s Weekly Letter

Welcome Back!

TNS community SING is in two weeks! I cannot believe how quickly this sneaked up! This unique community event brings families and classes together right after arrival in the 3rd St. basketball area. Classes sit in concentric circles, with the inner circle reserved for our youngest students (we will send out a seating chart next week). Classes will practice songs together, but I have attached this month’s song sheet so you can too! During SING, we ask that families:

  • Sing during the songs and wait until the whole Sing is finished to talk to your friend or neighbor.
  • Stay quiet between songs so we can transition smoothly into the next song and start singing in unison.
  • Save your applause.
  • Make your goodbyes short and sweet! The Goodbye song is part of the Sing, and we ask everyone to sing along to say goodbye.

We have our April PTA Meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight on Zoom.  I hope to see you there!

Please send your child in layers for these next few weeks.  It is usually still brisk at 10:40 a.m. Many of our youngest children were freezing at recess this morning.
Please remember that there is no school this Friday in observance of Eid al-Fitr.

Warmly,

Dyanthe
