Our youngest learners begin their TNS journey in a nurturing, play-based environment. The 3K classroom focuses on social-emotional development, early literacy, and exploration through play. Children build the foundations of community, curiosity, and care that carry through every year at TNS.

Literacy & Language Arts
Children develop early literacy through read-alouds, storytelling, songs, and rich conversation. Teachers create environments full of letters, words, and books so language is part of every corner of the day.
Mathematics
Early math grows out of play -- counting blocks, sorting collections, comparing sizes, and noticing patterns. Children build number sense and mathematical thinking through hands-on materials.
Science
Children explore the natural world through sensory play, observation, and outdoor time. Plants, water, weather, and the seasons become first lessons in how the world works.
Social Studies
Our 3K social studies begins with self, family, and classroom community. Children learn what it means to belong to a group, listen to one another, and care for shared spaces.
The Arts
Visual arts, music, and movement are everyday experiences. Children paint, draw, sing, and dance as ways to express themselves and explore ideas.
Social-Emotional Learning
Social-emotional growth is at the heart of 3K. Children practice naming feelings, taking turns, solving small conflicts, and building friendships -- the lifelong tools of community.
